25/09/2023 Recently purchased a vehicle from Phil Weaver for the first time and received exceptional customer service. After finding the vehicle on AutoTrader on Sunday evening and calling Phil on the Monday morning to see if it was still available, Phil kindly offered an appointment for me to view the car the same evening and remained open after hours to give me enough time to travel from work. On arrival, the car was prepared immaculately and ready for the viewing and test drive. Going through the paperwork in incredible detail and with full transparency after returning from the test drive gave me full confidence in the car. Throughout the process, Phil was in no way pushy but was very personable and answered every question I had. I had widened the search for my car to include the whole of the UK mainland as I was struggling to find exactly what I was after. Phil had one in stock and I saw he offered free home delivery. I was initially hesitant to buy a car at such distance (almost 300 miles) but the extensive detail, 30min video, photos etc. plus speaking to Phil put my mind at rest. You only have to check out his feedback to have confidence. We were in constant communication throughout the entire transaction and Phil also gave me a very fair price for my existing vehicle. Phil delivered my new car personally and even had it cleaned again just prior to delivery having travelled almost 300 miles at no additional cost. I cannot recommend highly enough.

16/01/2023 To call Phil a car salesman is a bit of an injustice. Phil is the ultimate professional. I have worked in customer focused management all my life, so I am a bit of a stickler for customer care and probably set my standards a bit high. No once did I feel I was being pushed for a sale dealing with Phil. In fact, it was the opposite. After I paid my deposit, the whole experience was at my pace. It was over the Christmas period and Phil answered all my questions promptly through calls or text. When I did get to see the car, Phil allowed me and my wife time on our own to look over the vehicle and to test drive it. Once I was ready, Phil went through all the documents in finite detail. He made sure we knew exactly what we needed to know leaving nothing out. The car itself is fantastic. I spent 6 months looking for the correct one and this has ticked all the boxes. The YouTube video of the car was a bonus. Phil went over it with a fine toothcomb. The extra warranty was not a hard sell either. I was left with the options to decide what I need later. I would totally recommend Phil and his business to anybody. I am hoping to keep the car for a few years, but I will use this company again. Thanks Phil.

01/06/2022 Phil’s service was absolutely amazing! Allowed me and my friends to view the car at our comfort. He provided us with a cup of tea after a long journey to Preston. He showed great mannerism through his actions and communication throughout. He also provided us up to date information and documentation regarding the vehicle and also provided receipts of the work he carried out on the car himself (valet, service, alloy refurbs, brakes etc). This is something that not many would do and I would highly recommend buying a car from him. There was a small crack in the pipe connecting the turbo which he advised I fix at my local garage and he will then reimburse the amount as it was a weekend and could not be done on the day. Not many would have gone through this effort! Thank you very much for the car and service Phil!

31/03/2022 My Wife and I wanted to take 20 minutes of our time to write a review. We recently were fortunate enough to experience the exceptional service from Phil Weaver. Phil’s customer service was first class from the point of initial contact. I had several questions about the vehicle we wanted to purchase from Phil, which he answered prompting and clearly. We were keen to part exchange our current vehicle, and Phil was able to value the car via email communication. He additionally facilitated us viewing the sporty coupe car in under 24 hours from our initial enquiry. From the moment we met Phil, we knew his approach to selling a car was second to none. There was no “pushy” sales pitch or pressure, we were left to view the car in our own time. Phil spent over 20 minutes of his time going through the car’s history and paperwork (he was meticulous). Following this we test drove the car, we were “sold” on purchasing the car. Phil promptly valued the car we wanted to part exchange and stuck to his originally valuation quote. Phil was proficient in completing the relevant paperwork i.e., car taxed, DVLA updated and transfer of private plate. The service we received from Phil for a 7K second hand car was 100 times better than my previous experience buying a 30K new vehicle van. We would not hesitate to buy a car from Phil in the future and cannot fault the service we received

The service was the best I’ve ever had from any sales experience. He was polite, patient, and out of his way helpful. One little thing that really stood out for me was the pride he took in himself, and his business. The place was immaculate, we were early and he went and put a shirt on to greet us. Sounds daft but it’s just an insight for me about how much he cares about his reputation. The car was, has been, and still is great. I will absolutely return when looking to replace it. There was only one query I had after the sale (it wasn’t something that was wrong) and again he went out of his way to help when other places wouldn’t have bothered. Absolutely first class!

11/06/2021 My experience of Phil Weaver Automatives from the first telephone call through to delivery of the modern classic car all the way to London was nothing but superb. Phil demonstrated utmost professionalism, exceptional customer service and expertise at all times. Having put down a deposit he waited for me to travel from London out of hours and allowed me the space and time to view and experience the car without applying any pressure. We discussed the car at length and he answered all questions reassuringly and with confidence. Clearly a man of integrity shown by holding the car for me for a month whilst finer details were finalised. This was despite ongoing interest and calls about the car even until delivery. To top things off Phil travelled with the car to ensure smooth delivery and personally handed over the keys and logbook. Next time I consider buying another car Phil Weaver Automatives will definitely be the first place I go despite the 440 mile round trip. I will also recommend him to family and friends. On a final note his website is amazing! The best I’ve seen from any motor trader ever, so informative and detailed that I got sold on the car and had to act straight away! Lucky that I did! 06/04/2021 I've been looking for a car (certain spec)for a while now, but during these strange challenging times its been hard, I've been on calls,emails with various dealers and felt very uneasy at certain answers from them or asking to look at a certain parts of a car to them basically doing the opposite, then I saw a post from Phil Weaver Automotive on FB, I went onto Autotrader and searched for the car and there she was... the description was very accurate and the pictures were very detailed from Phil and it helped with the added touches from Autotrader. I contacted Phil who responded quickly and sent over links to price my old car to part ex, Phil then sent a video and highlighted every part of the car inside and out, Phil was very understanding about the apprehension of not only paying a deposit but also the outstanding amount to complete the sale, but the way he deals with this was very comforting and helped with a safe transaction. The deal was done over a couple of emails and text messages, without even speaking over the phone. Due to the current situation I wasn’t able to view the car prior to collection, but the car was immaculately presented, and looked amazing when we pulled into the carpark in the click and collection bay. I’ve bought 37 cars over the years and have been fortunate to buy most of my cars new from premium brands such as Porsche, Range Rover, BMW and Mercedes. The experience of buying my XK from Phil was as good as the best! Buying a car during COVID was simple, easy and compliant, Phil is extremely thorough with his paperwork ensuring that every paper trail in relation to the vehicle is explained and supports the authenticity of the car. The cars that Phil has for sale are all immaculate it’s like buying a new car despite the fact the vehicle may be a few years old. There were a couple of minor niggles on my car which were swiftly rectified before I collected the car without hesitation. I don’t think you’ll find a much better and more complete experience in buying a used vehicle than buying a car from Phil Weaver Automotive.

The quality of the car, from the low mileage to it’s presentation and ‘back story’ was first rate and the part exchange deal was both fair and straightforward. No hard-sell, just straight answers to all questions; no ‘patter’ or sales ‘lines’. Everything was sorted out within an hour or so and I was able to drive the new car away. 26/08/2020 Apologies for the essay but its worth including everything in my experience. During a chat with Phil about the vehicle I was viewing (a model and spec I'd been hunting down since Jan 2020) we both agreed that when things sound too good to be true they often are - well Phil is the exception to this rule. From start to finish the level of service was superb and of the quality that fully supports the reviews I read. I phoned Phil on a Saturday night, left a voicemail and within an hour had a text reply to let me know when I could speak to him, I did this Monday morning and saw the car later that day, with full documentation ready without asking. The site was fantastically set up, with customer care a priority and not only was the vehicle I was viewing in great condition, a look around other cars on site showed the high standards Phil maintains. We had constant communication throughout the week up to collection and even helped trade in my old vehicle, nothing was too much trouble. Amazing!

04/08/2020 Very safe and secure, Phil welcomed us and explained all the new procedures he has implemented. We were shown the car and given time to look, ask questions without any pressure. Phil was on hand when needed however he allowed us freedom to view the car in our own time. Very enjoyable experience in purchasing our new car. Prior to our visit, Phil communicated quickly and comprehensively. We would definitely recommend.

The car was really well prepared and all the paperwork was organised in time for our appointment. We were made to feel safe whilst visiting the showroom through the use of safety screens, wipes and hand sanitiser. All the essential paperwork and details were provided eg mot, service history and details, warranty and associated information. The usual fourteen days cooling off period should we require to longer want the vehicle. Showroom address, telephone number, web page information etc.
